Friday the 13th and another snow storm!!! Stay home and stay safe. John will not be grooming until the wind does down. Ski ya tomorrow.
Sorry for this late notice. This week we started spring hours at the lodge. The lodge is closed during the week and will be open and staffed with volunteers only on Saturday and Sunday for the month of March, as long as we have snow to groom. If spring arrives and we can no longer groom, the lodge will be closed for the season. Our plans are to groom after it snows and before the weekend if the weather permits through the month of March. We thank everyone for skiing at Valley Spur and a special thanks to all the volunteers. Both keep our operation going. We will continue to post conditions and grooming reports. Happy spring skiing!
The picture on the left is immediately after grooming. Picture on the right is the snow machine NOT turning off! We got 10+ inches of snow today with more snow on the way.
