Are you wondering how the single track bike trails are doing, here is the report from Munising Bay Trail Network. Happy Spring! Trail conditions are still a bit wet with some patchy snow coverage. We are working on clearing the winter debris so they will be rideable when everything has a chance to dry up. The tread is very soft and delicate right now with the rapid warm up...so please be patient and wait for the thumbs up before you head out to ride. The Munising Mountain Bike Park/Non-motorized trails are mostly dry and ready to ride. Keep in mind the Jump trail "Superior Air" needs a bit longer with the clay cap and is taped off. The gateway loop return is taped off as well due to heavy snow coverage and a very soft base. The tread is damaged when it is traveled before having a chance to dry and firm up. The edges dry up first and if people walk or ride where its bare it causes erosion that cannot be repaired.....So please use the ORV trail to return to the parking lot if you are riding. You can return the same way you went up if walking (one way trail only for bikes to keep everyone safe).
Valley Spur and Bruno's run (closed) The trails are being cleared of debris and tree fall and need a bit more time to dry up.
