2010 Taste & Glide:   Saturday, March 6th
Cost: $18 Adults  $10 Children under 12

 Annual Taste and Glide Event

The annual Taste & Glide, an eat and ski event, is held on the first Saturday in March. The event runs from 11:00am to 3:00pm and is presented by the Friends of Valley Spur, Sydney’s Restaurant, and the USDA Forest Service. Participants pay a fee and then ski from one trailside buffet table to the next, sampling and enjoying many delicious foods, such as chocolate covered strawberries! Skate, stride or snowshoe your way to the trailside buffets. The Log-cabin Valley Spur Lodge is open for warming, socializing, eating and entertainment. This fun filled family event has earned a favorable reputation for nearly two decades.
